Isabella's Story
Bella Princess had the honor of putting together this photo shoot for Princess Isabella. Martha Peralta, owner of Bella Princess purchased the bald cap a few months back thinking that the next time one of her princess performers visits a child suffering from cancer or alopecia it might be a good idea for them to visit as a bald princess. Hoping that it might cheer up that child and make the visit extra special. Shortly thereafter, Tammi from the Giana Nicole's Heart of Hope Foundation contacted both Alana from Mother Hubbard Photography and Martha from Bella Princess about donating a Story Book Photo Shoot for little Isabella. Being a very delicate matter, Alana and Martha asked Tammi if using the bald cap would be ok. Tammi then asked Pina, Isabella's mom, who thought it was a great idea! So they decided to put together a charity Photo Shoot for little Isabella. Many were involved to make this special event possible, from our wonderful clients who purchased their own story book sessions, to the Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield NJ who donated the venue, and the beautiful performers that dressed up as princesses to make this a magical time.
There were a few set backs as little Isabella almost didn't make it because she had been admitted to the hospital earlier in the week. Miraculously she was released the day before and although a little nervous she was there to meet her favorite princesses. The room seemed to stop when Cinderella finally walked down the stairs with a shawl wrapped around her and covering most of her bald head. She met Isabella at the bottom of the stairs and there was not a dry eye in the room when Cinderella revealed her bald head to little Isabella. She was in awe and the look on her face was priceless.
The photos have made it to several media outlets and everyone is thrilled that Gianna Nicole's Heart of Hope foundation is getting the exposure it deserves. The foundation helps children like Isabella not only with day to day financial needs but also making little dreams like this one come true.
