At Your Location Policies
Below are the policies for a party at Your Location
Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. First you have to fill out an Availability Form, in order to see what times slots are available for your date and chosen location. Once your party date is confirmed, a deposit of $100.00 ($200 is for full party experiences or parties at Bella's Pad or Oakside Mansion) is necessary to secure your date. Your final step will be to fill out the Information Form, which is a short form that gives us the extra information to deliver the best entertainment we can offer. The balance will be due in a few days before your party. You may pay via Cash, Paypal or Major Credit Card.
FINAL R.S.V.P. DEADLINE:
In order to offer the best experience Bella Princess asks for an accurate RSVP list, because each child has to be set up for. In order to set up for all the guests we need to know at least 6 days (or sooner) prior to the date of the party. Your bill will be based on your final head count (Does not apply to the Character only Parties). We can credit only ONE no-show the day of the party. *Does not apply for The Wish Experience.
The day of your event everything will be set up for the number of children on your latest RSVP list and are expected to attend. However, Bella Princess will grant you credit for 1 (one) no-show; anything over the 1 (one) no-show will be your responsibility. If you have more than one no-show the remainder of your PAID for no-shows will still have party favors, which you will be able to keep.
We at Bella Princess are devoted first and foremost to the safety of children. Naturally if the roads are closed or it is unsafe to hold the party we will make arrangements to pick out a new date and time.
CANCELING AN EVENT:
In the event you have to cancel due to inclement weather (if the roads are closed or it is unsafe to hold the party) we will make arrangements to pick out a new date and time and the deposit will be put towards your new date. For all other reasons the deposit is NOT refundable. If the event you want to cancel is three months away or more we can refund you the deposit minus a $25 administrative fee.
The gratuity is included in the invoice under service fee. This allows for the performer to slip away without any interruption of the magical experience.
We are a full-service party business and as such we try to offer as much to our clientele as possible. We can come directly to you, or you can come to us at our venue, Bella’s Pad, or at the Oakside Mansion. If both other options are not your preference, you can also have your party at Your Location. In addition at Your Location also includes your choice venue such as a restaurant or other venue. However travel fees may apply.
Bella Princess services the Tri-State area of Bloomfield, New Jersey (NJ). We will travel up to 45 minutes or 35 miles from Bloomfield NJ 07003 without a travel fee, however if an area extends out of the given time or mileage a travel fee will be applied, and only then can the event be serviced. Travel fees range from $35-$75 per staff member. Parking Fees if needed are covered by client. Some areas we service are Essex County, Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Somerset, Monmouth, Union, Sussex, Warren, Hudson, Rockland County and Middlesex County. We also cover New York (NY), Westchester and some areas of NYC including Staten Island, The Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan
We will need a spot in your driveway to load and unload our equipment into the house. If it’s not at your home but in another location, please make sure there is a place close to the entrance for us to be able to load and unload. NYC clients will need to cover parking fee.
BELLA'S PAD AND OAKESIDE: HAVE THEIR OWN PARKING
SAFTEY: Abusive treatment of our performers and staff will NOT be permitted. This includes sexually suggestive or inappropriate touching, gestures, nudity or comments, verbally abusive language, threats, racist remarks, and any other hostile actions or situations. On site performers/staff will provide ONE WARNING to the client or their agent if the incident can be resolved. Resolving a situation may include guest(s) being asked to leave your event. Beyond this warning, any additional abusive acts will be grounds for the event termination. Company compensation will not be affected by such cancelation. Any incident of inappropriate touching may result in immediate event termination. Any event terminated due to inappropriate guest behavior will provide no refund.
SUPERVISION/ ALLERGIC REACTIONS:
We are not a daycare service, nor is it our job to discipline your child. We are entertainers and are not responsible for unruly or uncooperative children. We kindly ask that you monitor disruptive behavior and attend to any child who does not want to participate. This will help us to provide the best possible party experience for you and your child. Bella Princess Parties is also not responsible for allergic reactions at your locations or at Bella’s Pad or the Oakside Mansion. We leave it in the hands of the parents to be aware of the food being served whether at our offered locations or outside of our locations.
Please be advised that Bella Princess Parties assumes no responsibility or liability to accidents or damages caused during your party to your guests or your property. Your party host/entertainer will work to ensure that your home and guests are treated with care; however, liability will lie strictly with the client. The same care from hosts should also be returned when at Bella’s Pad or the Oakside Mansion where the liability applies.
VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY SAFTEY:
Your child's safety and well-being is incredibly important to us, therefore we do not share any personal information about you or your child. Pictures will be posted in our Gallery and possibly here on this site, but will not be placed on any outside sources without express written permission from the parents. Outside sources include social networking sites, image sharing sites and costuming sites. Your child's image WILL NOT be placed in any of these places without written permission and will only be used for promotional purposes on this site and in the Gallery. We do reserve the right to post the photos on any site without written permission, but in such a case we will blur your child's face or crop them from the picture. We do reserve the right to post videos on hosting sites such as YouTube, which will allow us to embed them on our site, but no personal information will be shared
WHY CAN'T YOU OFFER DISNEY CHARACTERS?
*We do not offer Disney characters because we do NOT offer any copyrighted characters. Our characters are only from non copyrighted fables or legends. If our characters look similar to media characters, look no further than the original tales they come from. Companies such as Disney often embellish on the original intended design of a character from a fable or fairytale. Therefore, when we create our costumes, we return to the original media for design inspiration. You will find that children often cannot tell the difference. If they see a blonde woman in a blue dress, they will probably think of Cinderella, even if the dress was a store-bought prom dress. We understand that you want your child to have a realistic princess at your party and we will do our best to make sure that they believe they have been visited by a "real" princess. But we cannot offer copyrighted designs of any kind. We can only serve customers who understand that we don't offer copyrighted characters. If you NEED a copyrighted character, you can try contacting the copyright holder.
We do not recommend for this type of party to fully take place outside. We can do craft and food outside but it is recommended that the coronation and story time be done indoors. We would consider doing an outside party fully if the temperature is not more 79 degrees and there’s either a deck, patio (non-grassy area for the children to sit down at story time). Please realize we have beautiful gowns that if we get grass stains on them it will be impossible to remove.
PARTIES IN RESTAURANTS:
The most important thing to take into account when doing a party at a restaurant is to make sure there’s at least a 10x10 area in front of the backdrop for entertainment. The next most important thing is to have an outlet very near the backdrop because of the noise level we will definitely need to use a microphone.
PARTY GUEST ARRIVAL TIME:
At your location please have your guest arrive on time or even early if this is preferred. It is crucial that we begin on time so everyone can enjoy the fun. WE CANNOT go back on activities for late comers. Such as: if we are done with face painting and are now in the middle of coronation we cannot stop in the middle of that activity to do face painting for a late comer.
Character entertainment requires a room with an outlet and enough space for all children to hold hands and make a circle. Full party packages require one large table for the craft (no chairs); one small table or for make up or face painting, and table & chairs for all the children to sit when doing a sit-down affair It is also requested that our characters get a room or bathroom to change into their costumes. We do not let our characters ravel in costume, in order to give the offer the best appearance; staff will arrive early to change and set-up.
EXTRA PARENTS OR ADULTS:
This is a high-energy party with make-up, dress-up and movement. If there is ample room without interference we have no problem with an audience. Please just remind the adults to keep the noise level when in the same room as the entertainment.

Times slots during the weekdays are not listed but can be established based on availability. Please inquire for more information
